The Osservatorio di Pavia collaborated in the realization of a vast research by the Union Congolaise des Femmes des M\u00e9dias (UCOFEM) on the brakes on female political participation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.<\/p>\n
The project, led by INTERNEWS RDC and implemented with the financial support of USAID and the Direction du D\u00e9veloppement et de la Coop\u00e9ration of the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs, applied various methodologies, from documentary research to field investigations, from focus groups to the collection of case studies and individual interviews with privileged sources, to identify the main factors limiting women’s participation in politics, especially in the ongoing electoral process.<\/p>\n
