The Osservatorio di Pavia and Carta di Roma have organized six focus groups and fifteen in-depth interviews to explore the levels of knowledge, awareness and perception on Afrophobia and systemic discrimination against Africans or Afro-descendants in Italy.
In 2021, the attention to foreign countries in the Italian news grew. 29% of all the news was about abroad, the highest figure recorded in the last decade.
